Physical Description: Sky is rather small, standing at 5'3". She has silky brown hair that hangs just past her shoulders. She has side bangs that swoop delicately over her right eye. She has large blue eyes that command attention. She is skinny, but not in an unappealing, anorexic way. She is very nicely shaped, in a way that attracts most boys, although she rarely notices them.

Personality: Sky is brilliant but she doesn't ever brag about it. She is highly opinionated and is not afraid to tell everyone what she thinks. Although she is a pureblood, she hates the pureblood supremacy culture. Boys are very attracted to Sky, but she is highly selective. She needs a man who goes out of their way to make her notice them, but she refuses to date any boy who is a pureblood supremacist. Sky loves talking to people and making friends, but she has very few close friends, because she has problems letting people in. Teachers either love or hate Sky, depending on whether or not they share her opinions. She always has a smile on her face, unless she is arguing with someone.

Likes: Sky loves animals and has a special connection with them (she has two rats, an owl and a cat). She loves clothes and is often annoyed she has to wear a uniform at Hogwarts (she feels it destroys her individuality). She loves to swim and explore new places.

Dislikes: Pureblood supremacists, bratty girls, teachers who don't know what their talking about, people who have nothing interesting to talk about.

Sister: Liberty Phoenix (graduated from Hogwarts, she currently works at the Ministry. She is 23)

Sky's father Harlow has worked at the Ministry of Magic his whole career in the Department of Mysteries. Harlow comes from a long line of pureblood wizards and has very pureblood supremacist views, which is why Sky does not have a good relationship with him. Sky's views developed mostly on her own, and with the secret aid of her mother, who shares her views. Lola-Simone believes what her daughter believes, but kept it quiet because she fell in love with Harlow. This fuels Sky's determination to not settle for a boy who doesn't share her views: she doesn't want to end up like her mother - silenced. Her brother Ronan is a womanizer who flaunts his pureblood roots to win girls over. Her sister never voices her opinions. Sky's best relationship is with her grandmother Pearl, her mother's mother. Pearl is disappointed that her daughter settled for a pureblood supremacist.

Sky's family is quite well off and they live in England's rolling countryside. Sky lives with her grandmother when she and her father get in major fights. What Sky really needs is a friend to talk to all this about, but she has trust issues.

Sky was born on July 14th. She was a rather neglected child, as her father was frustrated that she wasn't a boy. His dream had been one boy and one girl, which Sky successfully squashed. Her mother tried her best to give Sky love, but she found it difficult while dealing with Sky's attention-seeking sister.

When Sky was young, her father encouraged her to exhibit her magical talents at an early age. But the pressure he put on young Sky actually delayed her powers presenting themselves, which caused Harlow to punish Sky frequently and violently. He would often tell her that if she turned out to be a squib, he would disown her. On one occasion of abuse, Sky's magical powers came out of her at last, in one single powerful burst that left her father in St. Mungo's for weeks. Her father has never looked at her the same since.

Though Harlow was pleased Sky got her letter to Hogwarts, he never forgave her for the St. Mungo's incident. He encouraged her to stay at Hogwarts over holidays to "make friends", but as the years passed, Sky realized her father just preferred having her out of the house. Without Sky around, Harlow had the perfect pureblood family of four he had always wanted. Sky now only goes home during the summer. And even then, she stays with her grandmother the majority of the time.

In her third year at Hogwarts, Sky got in a fight with a heavy-set pureblood girl who called her a blood traitor and a disgrace to the Phoenix family. Sky was sent a letter home, and, during the summer, was beaten by her father for the first time since she was young. This time she fought back and was kicked out the house for a year. Sky holds a bit of a grudge against her mother for not protecting her. Sky has never told anyone about her father's abuse.
